Networkin probs with xp & 98se

I have installed a router on my xp and the wireless networking adapter on my 98se desktop. the router is working properly and the connection is all ready to go, but my interent connections are not working on the 98se. and everytime i restart the comp the linksys monitor shows up half way.like it is not loaded all the way.

on the win98 pc remove tcp/ip and reinstall it
