network xp pc to 2000 pc

can't get my xp and 2000 pc to see each other, using a hub and all com lines are a go. xp has a install program that work with everything except 2000. how do I get them to connect?

Make sure both computers are in the same Workgroup. Are you ising static ip's? If so make sure both ip's are on the same subnet and gateway if there is one. Try and ping both computers Xp-to-2000, 2000-to-XP. Oh and make sure they the firewall on the NIC for XP is unchecked.
