Hello Jason, First u check that is there communication components are installed in ur pc or not. if not then first u installed them. For installing these goto controll pannel---->Add-Rmove Prorammes---->Windows Stup----> Select the communication box---->details---> select dial up networking. Now put win98 CD (or win'98 dump)into CDD. Now say ok now it starts installing. After rbooting the pc. goto Control pannel---> Networking--->Install ur lan card (may be u already have it). if u don't have installed client for Microsoft Ntworks then first installd it.Now goto File and print sharing here select both options. Now goto identification give diffirent names in ur diffirent computer's and give same workgroup name in all ur computer's. now do same in all ur computer's. it will ask u for rebooting. After rebooting the pc's do logon give passwaords and enjoy the networking in win98.
