i m using my college wireless network...but the network utilization is only 0-1% for 54Mbps link speed....how can i increase the network utilization by myself??is there any tools to do that?? thanz..

You can try TCPOptimizer from www.speedguide.net
but school networks leave a lot to be desired.

try out this
Gpedit.msc > comp conf > administravtive templates > network > qos packet schduler > limit reservable bandwidth >
enable it make its value zero ..

and try this patch too if u need further

That percentage can also indicate an incompatablity between your wireless and theirs.

I would find out exactly what wireless standards they support and match your config to theirs.

We also solved this issue on a Dell laptop by getting a patch for the wireless.
