Network Through DSL Modem

I have a Westell Versalink 327W DSL Modem/Router combo and it has four ports on the back of it. Would it be possible to network two computers (One Vista Basic and the other XP Pro) trough this modem/router and if so, how?

Thank's for replying, but that didn't help at all. That just showed how to connect the compters the the modem/router so they can connect to the internet. I need to know how to network a PC Running XP Pro and another PC Running Vista Basic through the router.

If you connect the PC's to the modem/router you have in fact a basic network model in place, the router acts as a DHCP Server.
You just need to ensure they are both in the same workgroup and neccessary permissions are applied:
