Hello members
I like to add network storage to my system.
After surfing the net and looking at options I am thinking of adding a Linksys nas200 with 2/500gb seagate drives.
Has anyone of you used this system? Any other systems similar to this that are suitable?Would be nice to get some feedback to this ?
Thanks

I like them a lot, except for the print server part. You have to use lpt usually on that. More useful for business that doesn't need complex graphics.
They don't rely on MS, they can normally be used with ftp, samba (cifs), or http.
Some have web servers, they can even host their own web site.
Cheaper and quieter then a full computer.
They normally have an embedded linix/bsd system and tend to be fairly stable.
They easily support almost any OS that can use and IP address.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Hi Jefro
Thanks for your reply!
Sounds quite good then, except the printing. I have a Brother MFC7820n which is easy to handle but I like also to make the Canon S6300 available for the network and I thought that through a print server it would be possible.
I also assume that the nas200 is connected to (in my case)speedtouch585. The network includes 1MBP, 1 XP laptop, 2 xp desktops.
