Anyone here knows how to simulate a network ,not connecting to the Internet, with VM Workstation 6. This is what I got so far:

Win 2k3 (DC, AD, DNS)
IP:192.168.0.1
mask: 255.255.255.0
gatway: blank
DNS:127.0.0.1

WinXP Pro SP2
IP: 192.168.0.10
mask:255.255.255.0
gateway:192.168.0.1
dns:192.168.0.1

When XP tried to join the domain(abc.com), I got a error message saying"cannot connect to abc.com" and refused XP to join the domain.

PS: two computers can ping each other.

Hi, everyone ^_^
