network problem

Okay right now i have my modem connected to my router and then my main computer connected to the router. I am not connecting to the internet but my other computers that have wireless are working. How do I get the main to work?

Have you already checked your network settings by using ipconfig /all
Compare the output with one of your computers, that can access the internet.

I assume, that all the wireless computers get the ip addresses via DHCP.
So the computer, that isn't working, should also get the ip address via DHCP to get all the infos correctly, like ip address, subnet mask, dhcp server, dns server and standard gateway.

figured it out, the first port on the router wasnt working for some reason. Plugged it into the second one and it worked. weird

Maybe it's a special port for uplinking another router or switch.
