Me: I posted this before, but I had no luck.
When I try to access my brothers compuer(XP home), I get a popup that asks for a username and password.. The username is filled in with name/guest. I can't figure out the password though. I hav tried everything. Blank too. I have tried all of the passwords we have ever had, and it still won't let me in. Thanks.
Another guy: The guest account is disabled by default.
If you want access to your brothers computer you need to talk to him. Local administrator can create an account and assign a password for you to connect by.
Now me again:how do i create a user account and password.
I never recieve an answer for this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, lets say I have this Windows XP computer and you want to connect to it. But I do not have an account for you (one that you know the name/password to).
Now, would Microsoft say,"Gee, we need to let guys like this get access to other people's computers WITHOUT THEM KNOWING ABOUT IT. Let's let them make user accounts on people's computers, just like an admin"?
No. You cannot make user accounts on other people's computers without an existing admin account.
That said, go to the control panel under user accounts to make accounts on your own computer. No this has nothing to do with your brother's computer, but that is the best you can do without talking to your brother (or rooting his box).
