Network not getting properly

Specs: Windows 2000
We have nearly 30 computer in the network (work group) with differnent OS (from Windows98, XP, Vista and Windows 2007). No specific IP addresses are given all are given automatic IP address

What is the problem here?

If your network devices are automatically being assigned TCP/IP information, then the clients are receiving that information from a DHCP server.

If you want to bypass the DHCP you would need to manually enter the TCP/IP information (IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS).
