Network no worky

Ok, i'm in college in a residence... 5 people in my suite, we sharing a wireless internet access point, somehow my buddy set up so i can access his shared folder, but he's not sure how... I want to set mine up that way too so i can put stuff in my shared folder though... Help... i want to set it up and i don't know how, my friend can see me under work groups but when he double clicks on me it says u don't have permissions... how do i set it up, pelase give me all the info that u can

Add his user + password to your own computer, and add your own user+pass to his computer, then try

check the shairing permissions on ur shared drives or folders..... only allow that users to which u want to communicate.....

you have to add each other on each shares security permissions
