Comment:

I have a 5 pc setup.
1 domain controller on a athlon 1700xp 256 drr 2x 82gb ibm deskstar Hdds ( 2k adv svr)
2 athlon 1700xp clients (XP)
2 laptop (XP)
5 point network hub.

what i notice .. is that when i am copying a file from a mapped drive on the server to a client
( i mean a large ish file.. 100mb+) after an certain ammont of time. the message "the network name is no longer available"

this happens on all the client pcs.. so it points to the server.

there is no power managment turned on in the control panel.

and it has always been like this.. ( didn't have all 5 pcs on network to start with .. started with 1 xp and the server and it was doing it then. so it shouldn't be packet collisions.)

theer is no dchp running all manual Ips.
don't really know what other info you need.. so i'll leave it at that till i get a reply.

many thanx
Mark
