I recently got a laptop as a present from one of my relatives, and it's great because I can finally use the neighborhood wifi connection while my parents are hogging the two internet PCs upstairs, but whenever I want to connect my laptop to my LAN, I have to disable the wifi first. Is there any way to be simultaniously connected to my lan and the wifi connection? Thanx. :)

What exactly do you mean by a gateway entry? My LAN isn't connected to the internet, BTW.

No your lan isn't but when you are connecting to the neighborhood wifi you are. Correct? With both interfaces engaged go to a cmd prompt and type ipconfig /all >log.txt Then copy and paste the contents of log.txt here for review.
