I'm wondering if there is any way to map a network share to a folder?
eg. map "\\server\share1" to "c:\maps\share1

You see I have a game that I play on multiple computers in my house. I would like to share the "saved" directory and map it to be "\gamedir\saved" on ALL computers.
This way, it doesn't matter which computer I go to, I have access to my saved games.
For now I have one of the "saved" folders shared and have to copy the game into the "saved" folder on the local computer to play it.

Also, I'm using a Windows 2000 Advanced Server based server, with Windows XP pro, and Win98 clients in a p2p network set-up
(the server is a web, ftp, mail, Internet Connection, file, and print server)
The reason I can't just install a single copy on the server and run it is because the game has different files for XP/9X (tried that already), and I cannot configure a custom save directory in the game

I think this can be accomplished with net use which is detailed on this webpage. (Sorry I can't provide an exact solution.)
