Network Logon Prob

At work we have win2000 server. Most workstations are 98 or 2000. Users logon to server via a script (logon.bat). Server assigns rights to user's folder on server. We now have a couple of new machines with XPhome as OS. How can these be setup to logon in the same way?

Just use the same script.

I second that! We have a very large network, over 3,500 users and a mix of NT4, Win2000 & XP, our domain controller uses the same script for all, allocating user's network drives and permissions.

That's true, but wallie didn't mention anything about a Domain. He said "Server." Not Domain Controller.

I'm sorry. Jennifer is correct - I didn't mention Domain Controller, but I should have. My mistake. However, Bob's reply seems to suggest that it is possible. There doesn't seem to be a prob with XPpro - but the home version is the one I having prob with. I appreciate your input - will keep trying.
