im new to the networking and have been studying up and recently came across the notion of a networkers journal outlined by cisco.i think this is an really good idea and would like to do it for myself. problem is im a mess pup and the idea of writting something into a book i find hard since im dyslexic. but the idea of software that indexes the information and sets it out sounds like a winner. so i was wondering is there any software out there for this job that i can install on a pda to help with this. just wondering if any one has came across software for this and uses it on a pda. also i dont know much about pdas so if you have that sort of software what pda you using??

all text needs typos. There there for the reader to find,to distract them from the total lack of content.

I use a number of pda's mostly a dell x51v. The only one left making them is HP and I am waiting for the newest business class model. Most people have switched to phones and blackberries. I can't read that small of print. I might get the new eee pc next or a nokia 880. I have some tablets but they are really too big to carry around.

Depends on your needs. I am sure there is some program that you may like. I use the MS based office programs loaded on the pda's to store data. I just put it in notes or docs or tables depending on the need.

I also still have a few small books. They have never lost their data. They don't break when I drop them and other than trying to find the data they still work.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

I'm not quite sure exactly what you are looking for, but perhaps a Personal Information Manager or PIM is what you are looking for...
Try looking here...

As for PDA's. I have a Palm Tungsten C...no longer available, but you can get them on eBay for about $150 and I think they are worth every penny...larger type then the various blackberry type phones...

And if your phone breaks, you still have your info...

ah ill explain it a bit more.
the idea is to have something that holds all information on every problem you have solved. a sort of knowledge base that you create and can quickly search when soemthing comes up that you may have came accross before. thats what i mean.
