I can connect via my VPN client through the VPN successfully. (for it tells me so)
However, once connected - I can NOT perform any of the following:
* ping another node on the network
* remote desktop into any other node on the network
* access shared files/folders on the network

I have checked my firewall (Checkpoint Services) settings and there seems to be nothing that there that looks as if it were changed. I also checked the local PC network settings and the VPN Settings and services, nothing there. I tried all of the windows updates, also uninstalling/reinstalling the VPN Client - nothing as well.

I have noticed that after a fresh install of an OS, the client works and connects fine and can perform all the tasks listed above. I also noticed that SOME PC's can perform all of the tasks listed above, when connected through the VPN from home. It is not user crudential based for i tried different accounts on working pc and non working pcs and it acts just as the pc wants it too.

Can anyone steer me to a area to start looking into? I am completely stumped.
Could it be a windows issue?

Yes the windows firewall is turned off on the acting up PC's.

By ports open....u mean on what? PC, Switches, Firewall??

Firewall and Switches are running fine with ports and has not been changed recently.

I have a feeling it MAY be DNS/DHCP related? When you connect via vpn, you are connecting from outside into the network. Your using a outside IP and you do not recieve one from inside when you connect.

Again, the PC's its NOT working on....it onces worked on as well.

Any other ideas?
