I have been trying to fix this for months now! i would strongly apprehiate help! I have 2 PC's , one running xp Home and one running xp Pro, i also have one laptop running xp home. The problem is that i brought a modem/router by belkin and i can share internet wirelessly to laptop and wired to pcs absolutly fine. BUT i have never been able to share files between them all, i feel as though i've tryed everything, changed workgroup name numourous times, muck about with xp wizard loads and loads and i seem to be gettin nothing from the otha computers. A week ago my xp pro pc saw that my laptop was part of the same workgroup but it wouldnt let me access it. How frustrating! ive also done the whole shared folders thing too. Basically their all the same workgroup but cant see each other! please please help! thank you

*set the router to provide dhcp addresses *set the workstations to get a dhcp address *same workgroup name *same account name on each workstation with same or no password *file and print sharing on all pcs enabled *share a folder with no restrictions- full access *logon to every pc with the same account name and password. Now see if you can browse to the shares.
