Specs: Windows 7
My network controller has disappeared and after months of trying to find out exactly which one I find out that this is what it is: PCI\VEN _14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_ 7175144F&REV_01\4&219A7493&0&00E1. Can anyone tell me what this is & what it does? please .

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727="Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n"

It seems to be a Broadcom wireless driver. It certainly is confusing. I can see why you had trouble. I'm not even sure of my answer.

How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.

Thanks anyway, but I solved it.
What I did was downloaded Driver Detective, did a scan, came up with the drive & what it was used for then went to ' Drivers download for and downloaded the drive.
All fixed.
