hello.. got problem with the network connection of one of the workstation here in trhe office.. one of the workstation here hang up.. always pop a message telling network cable unplugged,, i check the connection and it was physically connected. i dont know why it happened.. can somebody help me.. pls.. tnx in advance to those who will reply...

There could be a problem with the nic card. Sometimes even when you look in hardware manager and it states that there are no problems with the card there can still be a short on the nic board.

Or check your cable and make sure that all of the ends are touching the connecter maybe you need to crimp it or replace it.

I have also had that problem occur if the PC is set to power save in the bios. Usually though, as Melissa points out, it is a NIC or the cabling.

Change both with known good ones from another PC and take it from there.
