Hello
I have a problem with my network card. I recently installed Windows XP Home Edition with SP1. Everything was fine until I had to configure the network card. I noticed it wasn't connecting to the internet, I looked at the switch that my PC is connecting in and the corresponding light was off. I removed the cable from the card, but my connection was still ON. I tried restarting the PC a few times, but the network card stays connected no matter what I do. I tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, but still no results.

Hi
It seems the network card is not responding. In this case, you have to remove the power from the network card. So, if you have a separate network card, remove it from its slot, wait a few seconds and plug it again. If you have on-board card, remove the power cords from the motherboard, wait a few seconds and plug the cables back in.
