Name: Matt
I just upgraded my processor from a amd xp 1900+ to a 2600+, and after i rebooted my computer, the onboard lan for my GA-7VAXP gigabyte motherboard had disapeared both from windows and the bios (it usually has an option to enable or disable the onboard lan, but that was gone). So, i took a network card and put it in the pci slot and then booted my computer up, all was well until i couldnt connect to anything on my network at a reasonable speed. Most things wouldnt cpnnect at all. i got a download going at 531bytes/sec. I restarted to no avail. i then changed network crads, and it was back to normal until 10 hours later when the same speed decrease happened. I then restarted again to no avail. then i shut down and changed th pci slot the card was in, which did nothing. please help me find a way to keep my network crads from being mad slow, or to get my onboard lan back.
thanks,
mattP.S. once in a while the speed goes back to normal if i just leave the computer on for a while, but soon goes slow again. also, i know its not my router becuz all my other computers are fine and i changed what slot my computer was connected to the router on.
