Hi i dont know if this is the right forum for this question but anyway;im learning about cables and i have read that the foil and the shield of the cable protects only form electro magnetic interference,so that means that even an ordinary UTP cable can work (besides EMI)outdoor from -10 to +50 degrees is that right?and one more things what protection offers the foil and what the shield.Thannks

Thats all the shield is meant to protect from is EMI. If you want cable that is protected from extreme temperatures you need something else.
UTP cable doesn't have any shielding, that what UTP stands for Unshielded twisted pair. It is the twisting of each pair of cables that provides the EMI protection.
STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) and FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) is available but is used in specialist applications. UTP is normal for Ethernet networks.
Foil is the shield. A search of Google for the different type of cable will provides plenty of reading.

For outdoor use you'll want the type of cable that is specially made for that purpose. It's got a tougher outer casing and also is grease packed inside the outer casing to help protect from the elements.
