I have a working NIC actually two. Working network cables. BUt when I try to use them in my computer. It finds the NIC fine... Says it is working. But for some reason it says the network cables are unplugged. (They work at friends so do the cables.) I tried changing PCI slots ect.. Still annoyance. Help please.

Can you provide more info.. what you're trying to connect each NIC to? whether you've given them Static IP's.

Have you tried putting only one NIC in at a time and trrying to get it working before introducing the other?
