Ok I am trying to bridge connections. Basically I have my modem going to a router. Then from the router to a pc. Then from the pc out to next pc.
I am getting a connection on the pc but from the pc to the next pc I get no connection. I have a connection on Computer 1 but then when I try and connect to computer 2 it has no connection.
I bridged the 2 computers together and relized that yes I could just have my modem go to the router and then from the router out to the pcs. But I would like to do it this way. So can someone tell me what I am doing wrong stopping me from getting a connection to PC 2. The problem is something dealing with I am not sending a connection out from PC1. So could someone help.
Here is a Pic of what I am getting... http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/7255/this5gd.gif

When you connect the 2 computers together, be sure to use a crossover cable, not a regular patch cord. The crossover has one end wired per 568A and the other end wired per 568B specs.
