Hi there, I am trying to create a network boot disk with a 3com 3c589c network card, using the Network client administrator under NT server. I have created the disk and edited protocol and system.ini to reflect the elpc3.dos driver, but I get an error when the boot disk tries to initialise.
It complains that 'No Card Services or Card Services is not responding.
Driver will now try to enable 3C589 using PCMCIA host hardware.'
I then get another error since the enable does not work and the card does not work in dos.
All I want to do is get some data off this damn laptop without using a thousand floppies!

Please help me, someone!

Nick

What am I missing? Why don't you just network
the laptop with the server?

Why don't you just use the instant network boot disk?

just copy your driver onto the disk and let it do the rest. It saved my life!
