Hi,

Fist you select the NAT option from the DSL router this means NAT is enabled on the router. On WAN LAN card keep the settings same. On LAN card of your server use the settingsIP: 192.168.1.1
DefaultGate way:192.168.1.64 On client machine IP: 192.168.1.2
Default Gate way: 192.168.1.1
After setting all tehse things you have to make bridging between your two LAN cards of your server. How to do bridging I don't know. even though if it dosen't worked try by canceling NAT option. Let me know it works or not.

You've misconfigured the client. Your client has the following gateway IP:

Default Gate way: 192.168.1.254

You need to change that to the IP of your server if you want the server to do your NAT. (192.168.1.1)

Am I reading this right? Looks like your lan and wan ips are in the SAME SUBNET.

You can not route in the SAME SUBNET. NAT by definition says different ip subnets. Don't confuse ips with subnets. x.x.0.x and x.x.1.x are different subnets.

gardenair you would use RRAS or ICS and your lan subnet would be 192.168.0.x. Then your NAT will work.

Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?

Thanks "wanderer" for your prompt reply. I have done successfully my NAT using Class A in client side and Class C in my server side.

My question is why same subnet mask can't route
whats the reason.

2- i have connected my client computer with my sever now if i want to connect 10 computers then what should i do?
Under RRAS (NAT) I can see LAN and VAN.In VAN properties under "Special Ports" i write IP of my 2nd computer. If i want to use 10 computers then should i add all then computers IP Addresses ?

please guide me .thanks.
