I recently replaced my old 3com network adapter with a D-Link 520+ Wireless adapter. I just noticed that in my device manager, there is an entry for WAN Miniport (IP) #2. I noticed that if I displayed the hidden entries there was also a WAN Miniport (IP). The #2 entry does not start up but windows 2000 will not let me uninstall it (it keeps telling me that it may be required to boot). Any ideas on how I can remove it?
