Comment:

When I use the NETSH command to put in static DNS addresses, it will only let me put in one, instead of two, like you can when you use the GUI in Control Panel.
I use the command:
NETSH INTERFACE IP SET DNS "Local Area Connection" STATIC 192.168.1.2

This puts the DNS address in correctly, but when I try to add a second:
NETSH INTERFACE IP SET DNS "Local Area Connection" STATIC 192.168.1.3

It simply overwrites the first one, so only 1.3 shows up in the control panel.

Any suggestions on how to get the second one in there?

Try "netsh interface ip add dns" instead of "netsh interface ip set dns"
