You can't use that mask of 255.255.253.0 , the bits are not contigues

use 255.255.252.0 == 1024- 2 == 1022 hosts

0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 these are the network and broadcast addresses

1-2, 5-6, 9-10, 13-14, 17-18 these are the IP ranges

now you can find the pattern and do the rest, if ya even need to.
