Netgear Wireless Router Problem

At home I have a MR814 4port wireless router from Netgear. Everything was good until a few days ago when it just stopped working. I found the fix, just shut off then on for a second and it works again but it shouldnt be doing this.
I thought it was maybe because I moved it near my TV but since I moved back it still did it the following day. I called tech support, they had me put newest drivers in (which I had done the second I got the thing a few weeks back) again and it has since been running for 3 days without a hitch
Any ideas?? If it happens again is it a defective unit? Thx

Some newer portable phones run at the same frequency as 802.11b wireless. I have seen this happen before and it was confusing as hell until we figured that out. Of course this won't help at all if you don't have a portable phone.
