I Recently purchased a Netgear WGR614 wireless router and netgear wg311 wireless pci adapter to replace my wired router. The router installed with no problems, and all the hardwired devices work perfectly. My problem is when I try to connect the PC using the wireless card. The Netgear configuration software see's the router, and the signal strength is at or near 100%, but it will not connect with the router. I have moved the location of the router around, and moved pc with the wireless card in the same room as the router without much success in connecting. I contacted Netgears offshore tech dept, the first solution they gave me is to assign static ip addresses. I tried this, no luck, They havent responded with a solution to my second request for help. My knowlege is quite limited with wireless networking, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
