ive had a netgear wireless router working on my current dsl connection then one day it stopped working ive tried to re-connect but now it wont establish a dsl connection the ethernet led juet keeps flashing has my router broke or have bt changed their settings ?
Have you reset it? Can you access it through IE? EEOC
yes ive reset it the wireless connection still works but i cant get a dsl connection what is ie ?
If you have tried reseting your router and dsl modem, you may have to access your router's configuration interface through IE(Internet Explorer). You have a Negear so you would have to type in your router's ip address which is 192.168.01 in the URL of IE. User name is "admin" and the default password should be "password". Consult your manual for the correct login information. Once you are in the interface, click on router status>connection status>renew. Your router should be able to grab a dynamic ip from your dsl provider.
ive tried to connect through netgear browser it says ppl allowed to come up then just hangs there
