Hi,
I've just recently started noticing a weird issue w/ my netgear wireless router wgr614. i recently upgraded the firmware because the old one kept on hanging my net connection. now that's gone but something else has surfaced.
seems like it's somehow resetting my server ip addresses in forwarded port settings. ie:
the destination (server ip address) keeps changing from whatever i have setup to
192.1.168.192
i've tried looking up on the netgear support site but nothing there that i can find. seems to keep the change there for a couple days until it changes. until the dhcp lease is renewed from the ISP???

updating.
i think i've found a bug;
if you make any changes under the LAN IP Setup and apply, then the server IPs in port forwarding get reset to 192.1.168.192 - *i am able to reliably reproduce this.
i'm using the firmware version
V2.0.13_1.0.13NA
WGR614 v6
hope this helps.
i haven't put a signature yet!

Hi there,
Good job! This certainly sounds like a bug.
You should consider reporting this to NetGear technical support, they should address this in a firmware update ( if an update is not already available ).
Cheers, Lofty.

Hi there, I just noticed the exact same thing with my WGR614v6, but my software is the V2.0.13_1.0.13 (non-US) version. Just upgraded to V2.0.14_1.0.14WW and it now seems OK. -david
