Hey all,

I have a quick question, hopefully someone can answer it.

I'm working on a computer for someone and they want the Netgear Gigabit Ethernet PCI Adapter Model GA311 installed onto their old Gateway. They've got all the right system requirements, but for some reason it doesn't want to install.

It will run the setup, and then get to the final page of the wizard. Each time, it pops up with a button saying, "Reboot", so I click that in hopes to have it reboot to install the drivers properly. But the moment I click it, the screen goes black and says something along the lines of "A fatal error has occured" and to press any key to continue.

I've even tried to go the long way about installing the drivers by installing the basic software, then the hardware, and then going in and manually telling the computer where the information for the drivers is, but each time the computer comes back saying that the drivers specified were not found.

It's beginning to drive me crazy. So if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
