I face a really wierd problem - I use a Netgear FA511 PCMCIA Ethernet 10/100 card. It works just great at school (the network uses DHCP for IP address). The same card also works with Linux (RH 8.0) at school. However, when I connect to Roadrunner (cable modem based internet service), the card is unable to contact the DHCP server! The same happens even when I use Linux to try to connect to Roadrunner. I then have to use a USB-Ethernet adapter (DTNet Technologies), which works fine. I really can't figure out what may be wrong!
