I have a Netgear DG834G wireless router with a Netgear WG111 USB adapter. I have one computer connected to the router.
When I try to access my router home page at http://192.168.0.1, I can't access it. I get a D-Link router home page, instead but I don't own a D-Link router or know anyone who does.
I can't remember the SSID I set up, so I've tried disconnecting the router to break the connection and connecting it again. When I use the default SSID, I get the D-Link router home page.
I had reliability problems when using the USB adapter with my desktop, so I tried it with my laptop. It worked OK to start with but then other people's networks started being picked up by the adapter.
Do you know how I can get back to the router home page? I sounds like I have to wait for other people to stop using my connection?
I have set up an SSID with WPA-PSK security before but I still attracted other people's networks.

I think you are getting someone else's router page. Isn't Netgear's interface 192.168.1.1?
If not, connect to the router through a cat5 cable and access it that way.
