Hi

seems a fault in your tcp/ip so i would suggest you uninstall/reinstall tcp/ip

click on Settings\network\Local Area Connection and select Properties. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on the Uninstall button. Reboot. now reinstall; Go to the same Local Area Connection Properties and select the Install button. Highlight tcp/ip protocol and click on the Add button. Select Internet protocol (TCP/IP). Doing this will remove any duff adapter bindings.
hopefully that clears it

:)

I was having the same problem and I finally came upon this. I went into TCP/IP properties and disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and clicked ok. I repaired the connection and it didn't hang. I went back and enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and I was able to see my entire network. Hope this helps
