Hi
seems a fault in your tcp/ip so i would suggest you uninstall/reinstall tcp/ip
click on Settings\network\Local Area Connection and select Properties. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on the Uninstall button. Reboot. now reinstall; Go to the same Local Area Connection Properties and select the Install button. Highlight tcp/ip protocol and click on the Add button. Select Internet protocol (TCP/IP). Doing this will remove any duff adapter bindings.
hopefully that clears it:)

I have the same problem and tried what you suggested above. However, I'm not able to do it as the "uninstall" button is greyed out and not available ..... are there any other ways to take care of this Clearing NetBT problem? Thanks for any help you can give .......

I was having the same problem and I finally came upon this. I went into TCP/IP properties and disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and clicked ok. I repaired the connection and it didn't hang. I went back and enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and I was able to see my entire network. Hope this helps
