ok, heres the problem
i have 2 pcs networked sharing an internet connection.
they are both on the same network. sometimes this changes without being touched.
the internet is adsl
when i try and use cmd to net send a msg to the other computer, it says there was either a: a general network problem, or b: the network alias could not be found.
my questions are: 1. why would the network name change itself back to workgroup without having been touched? 2. any ideas what might be preventing a net send msg going thru?
