Hello,
Everything works great on my family lan.
But, if i enter in a DOS cmd window "net send theMessage" it returns me a message (translated from french): the sending of file is no longer authorized.
I never succeeded to make this net send command work. Thanks a lot for any advice and/or "how to" check my network is right configured though it works great apart of this net problem.
(PCs are declared under the same workgroup but if I open the workgroup, on 1 Pc it only shows itself's name, and on the other same-workgroup-PC if just shows nothing).

From what I see, you haven't set a destination so the message doesn't know where to go.
I would google the 'net send' command for more info on how to properly use it.

Thanks a lot crea7or, re-starting the "Messenger" service did the trick, as suggested in your link.
