First, what kind of printer (make/model).

Secondly, what steps have you taken on the desktop to add the printer to it?

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you.

printer is a kyocera km 1650 multifunction. I have tried going into add a printer and tried all options. I have tried turning off firewall. I have tried using a usb wirelss adaptor and locating it wirelessly. no luck. I tried downloading drivers tonight which showed the printer but no luck with test page. I have tried hooking up another computer to the ethernet cable and have same situation. Problem seems to be in the router. any ideas?
