I have a Dell laptop configured to work on the domain my employer has setup. I also have a non-domain workgroup set up for my machines at my home. When I take the laptop home, I can get to the internet fine wired/wirelessly. However, since the computer is not set up as a member of my workgroup, I can't do file sharing/print sharing easily. Anyway to set up the machine to work on both or to be able to switch it easily? Can this be done with separate user accounts?

No. You can't be on both a Workgroup and a Domain.

You can get close though.

Trick I have found is rename your home workgroup to the company domain name but without the .com/whatever.

so if your company is widgets.com call your workgroup widgets. Then whatever account you are using on the laptop for the company make a same name account with same password on all your workgroup pcs. access at home is easy then.

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Turns out I tried to find machines on my workgroup again and tracked them down. Then I just created shortcuts on my laptop to the locations I needed. It asked me to login to the remote machine the first time and I saved that and now it's setup. Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate.
