need to access camera from server

Specs: Windows Server, 4GB
Hello there...

Well the issue is this - I have a Axis Security camera that is currently on the network. Regrettably, I am the new man her, and the software was installed on a work station. So, with this, once the computer is turned off, the camera stops monitoring. I believe that installing the camera software on the server (since it is always on) would relieve the issue of not monitoring.

Is this correct?

Secondly, my boss would like to be able to access the camera recordings from here workstation and not have to go to the server and access there. What is a god way to make this happen?

Please help.....

I wouldn't move the camera to the server. I would just leave the workstation running & see if you can share the directory.

I had a fax service on a workstation once. We didn't shut that machine & configured the fax software to send the faxes to other workstations.

How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
