Hello forum...CAN ANYONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME...ASAP!
I have a Domain server let's say the name is "cunick-srvr1.cunicktech.com" IP address 192.164.64.20. I also have a web site "www.cunicktech.com".
Basically I can't access my web site from within my network but i can when outside of my network.
When I nslookup from within my network I get the Error :
"cunick-srvr1.cunicktech.com can't find www.cunicktech.com: Non-existent domain".
However when i nslookup anywhere else i get the desired nslookup response.PLEASE can anyone out there tell me where my configurations went wrong...will be happy to add any additional info if requested

Where is your DNS server? Is it inside or outside your network? What DNS daemon are you running? Does it have a "view" for your domain acessible to internal clients?
I'm guessing this is what's going on:
You have the DNS server either running outside or at the border of your internal network. It, or at least the view that contains the zone for the domain you can't resolve, accepts DNS queries from the internet-facing network interface but not the internal-network-facing one. Am I close?

you need to tell us how you are physically connected, how your dns is configured/located and whether you are using a dmz zone [sounds like it] or not. Might include your ip ranges and what you are providing vs what your isp is providing.

Yes Iamc....you are dead on. So what do i do...how do i configure this 'view'. Please humour me and explain it to me like a i'm a 6 yr old...although i know of a few 6 year old's who might be able to explain it to me.
Thanks in advance.Ps. If there is anybody else who can contribute please do
