i have a wireless router built in modem and i use wireless pc card able to connect them to the internet. but im having trouble setting up the network. im trying to make 2 computers to see each other, so i can share the files, and the printers. im using the NEtwork setup wizard that window provided. When i create new network, it has the option that say" this computer connects directly to the internet. the other computers on my network connect to the internet through this computer." i want to choose that option, but when i click next, there is an error. it said: other computers cannot connect to the internet through this computer. in addition to its internet connection, this computer must have a connection to your network." I dont know what to do after that. can someone help me please.

I have revisited your post in the XP forum and have replied to you over there.

Dave your advice is quite helpful, but perhaps not in this situation. You seem to have totally missed the point that goldengek (where do these names come from!?) has wireless cards on both computers.
Goldie, you do not want to set up ICS! Get out of that wizard! You already have set up your network. Now you need to enable sharing.
I'm not an XP person, but try right clicking on the folder/s you wish to share and I guess you can figure it out from there.
Just be aware that wireless networks are never really secure!
