Specs: Windows XP, 256
hi all. I have a upc router/modem and after a lot of figuring out it is now connected to wirelessly to a labtop, and upstatirs playstation.

my pc however cant seem to find it. there is an icon on my pc in network connections to create a wireless network.yet when i go through the steps and go back to network connections it hasnt created a new connection icon.theres just the old lan connection there.

I checked device manager, cant seem to copy and paste for second opinion but i cant see anything labeled wireless enabled.

I'd appreciate any help in trying to get my pc to talk with the router,i feel im missing a small but vital step.

Whats the exact model of your laptop (You can usually find this on the bottom of the PC)? Have you ever connected to a wireless network before? Are you sure you have a wireless card?
