Specs: Windows XP, 2046MB
I reformatted my other computer recently, however I cannot connect to the internet. Someone told me I need to download specific drivers to be able to connect to the internet again, my connection is also wired.

Please also ask my any computer information you may need to know.

You need to know what your make/model your network interface is in order to download the correct drivers for it.

If it's a brand name PC (ie: Dell, HP, Compaq etc) find the model number of the unit and go to the manufacturers website and find the downloads for your model. You'll find the NIC (network interface) drivers there.

If it's a custom build and fairly recent, your NIC will be built onto the motherboard. The motherboard manual will list the NIC info. If you don't have the manual, look up the specs for your motherboard and that will list it.

I am the captain of my soul.

Actually, I managed to find a CD with the drivers I need and now the internet is working perfectly! However, I am unable to play music as I am missing several Real-Tek drivers, is obtaining these going to be as confusing?
