Can anyone advise me how to construct a Full Adder using just Nand Gates. Images, or links to useful websites would be most helpful, along with the truth tables. Many thanks in advance.

You want an electronics site, not a 2000 help tech site.

G'day,
Yes, CurtR is correct;however, since there is really no other forum to point you to (except perhaps general hardware)I will try to give you some assistance. Do you know the truth table for a full adder? Do you know the logical circuit for one? If you know this, then conversion to a NAND gate only solution is straightforward. So, look on the net (google) or any basic digital logic textbook for the logic of a full adder. You will find that the most efficient solution uses exclusive OR gates (a hint for you). However, the reason for your task is that every basic logic function (AND, OR XOR and NOT)can be represented by a number of NAND gates (and NOR for that matter). So, get the logic for a full adder: look up the conversion to NAND and you will have it solved. Post back if you have any queries. good luck, Elric
