Hi guys,

I have got an 8-port switch connected with a 100mbps backbone. The computers connected with it are all working on 10mbps and network card's link speed+duplex is set to "Auto-Detect". Although the backbone is on 100 mbps, is there any possiblility that each computer connected with the switch start working on 100mbps instead of 10mbps? If not then is there any way to increase the speed? At the moment only one computer transfers file to another at a single time so it should get highest speed, shouldn't it? Please help.

Thanks in advance

Learner

If it's a 10mbps switch or the netcards ae 10mbps, that the highest rate that data will be transfered.
