To me it sounds like a MAC address issue. Your provider has the MAC address of your computer registered to this account and won't accept any other. This should be simple to fix if you spoof the MAC from your PC onto your router.

To find out your PC's MAC address, open a command prompt window (ie: Start >> Run >> type cmd and hit Enter) and perform the following command:

ipconfig /all

You're looking for the following entry:

Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-21-9B-27-22-A2

Now, go into the management interface of your router and look for the entry where you can change the MAC address. Enter the MAC from your PC.

NOTE: Windows shows the MAC with a hyphen (-) between pairs, normally it's a colon (:) and you'll likely need to use a colon when entering it in your router.

Once you've changed the MAC on your router's WAN port to match that of your PC, it should work.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
